Where to Begin
Nov. 4th, 2023 01:08 pmTo be back here again. I tried this site back in highschool or community college but I could not figure out, or even had the guts, to talk to people here. Hopefully, that changes since I've grown older since my first experience here. But, anyway, what am I going to do here?
Well, I wanted to repost my fanfics and essays in case anything happened to them. But also, and this is a big one, Pillowfort has always had monetary issues but this one is really bad. They need to raise $25K by December 31st of this year or else the IRS will reclassify them as a hobby, and they have to close up shop because of the issues it would bring. I thought there were people on here that have a PF account, IDK, but I do know there are people putting together commission/donations drives for people who aren't able to donate directly to the site because of the region they're in.
I hope it helps in some way, and that's one of the reasons on why I made the account here. The other was just in case they don't make it I'll have this and see where it goes. I already donated (I should've done more but I'm facing some financial issues of my own, as well) and I hope things work out for the PF staff in the end.
It's not perfect but I've felt the most comfortable talking about the things I thought were interesting to me (if it is mundane).
